Ah, strawberry pie—the official dessert of the Midwest, the South and basically everywhere else! If you’ve never had a slice, you’re missing out on a culinary experience that could make even a grumpy cat smile.
The Good, The Bad, and The Yummy
Making a real

strawberry pie is as easy as pie—literally! Here’s what you need:
Fresh strawberries (because frozen ones are for people who don’t believe in love)
Sugar (the sweet stuff that makes you forget your ex)
Pie crust (store-bought or homemade, because we all have our limits)
Whipped cream (to cover up any mistakes, like that one time you forgot to add sugar)
You can find recipes for this tasty treat in cookbooks dating all the way back to the 1800's! Here you can find the video for my FAKE version, scented, of course to add that little extra realism.
For my FAKE version you only need a few "ingredients" including a mold for your berries, or you can elect to purchase strawberry halves online. If you're a clever crafter you can shape your clay into some strawberry shapes that will work just fine! Make sure you use some filler for your pie pan base to "fill the void" with something like plaster of paris or styrofoam. Then pile those clay berries into the pan, make a quick rope style crust, paint, a little resin and VOILA!! You've created a masterpiece! You can make these pies smaller too! Add a dollop of fake whipped cream and a mint leaf for added effect!
Let me know what you think
Love it!
